Kay Sumner
Kay Sumner is a three-time Emmy Nominated Producer and Film Director including The Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan and SURVIVORS (2021). She currently manages the Dog Whisperer® brand and production.
Kay has extensive production experience including three Emmy nominations and two People’s Choice awards as the Co-Creator and Producer for The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan.
Other accolades include feature film, Shadow Dancing (three Canadian Genie nominations, & Best Cinematography) and an Ace Award nomination for The New Quiz Kids with host Norman Lear. Kay worked as a Producer for ABC ‘O&O’s in Chicago (WLS) and the Morning Show in Detroit (WXYZ). Kay also produced and created Canadian network television shows, Any Woman Can Fix It (65 episodes - CBC) and Eye Bet (3 Seasons - CTV Network Canada).
Kay has also executive produced the documentaries Dreams 2010 and co-produced Lady Out of Lizzy (CBC - Canada).
